While we do not manufacture transformers directly, we partner exclusively with globally recognized and accredited manufacturers whose facilities operate under internationally accepted quality management systems.

All transformers supplied by Chronicle Electric Supply are factory-manufactured, fully tested, and certified in accordance with applicable IEC standards prior to shipment.

Accredited Testing & Standards

The transformers supplied by Chronicle Electric Supply are manufactured in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratories. Our manufacturing partners perform routine, type, and special tests in accordance with IEC 60076 standards to ensure compliance, reliability, and performance.

All transformers undergo comprehensive factory testing prior to shipment.

Routine Tests (IEC 60076)

All units are tested in accordance with IEC 60076-1 and IEC 60076-3 standards, including:

  • Measurement of Winding Resistance

  • Voltage Ratio & Phase Displacement Verification

  • No-Load Loss and Current

  • Short-Circuit Impedance & Load Loss

  • Applied Voltage Test

  • Induced Voltage Withstand Test

  • Leak / Pressure Tightness Test

  • Core and Frame Insulation Check

Special & Type Tests (Available Upon Request)

Additional testing may include:

  • Temperature Rise Test

  • Lightning Impulse Test

  • Insulation Resistance Measurement

  • Dissipation Factor (Tan δ) Testing

  • Zero-Sequence Impedance Measurement

  • Tank Endurance Testing

  • Performance Testing at 90% and 110% of Rated Voltage

All testing is performed in accredited facilities in accordance with applicable IEC standards.
